YEIDA all set to begin work on Jewar airport:-

The much-awaited Jewar International Airport project has come closer to fruition with the Yogi government in UP obtaining a `no objection certificate’ (NOC) from the ministry of defence.

The transformation of Gurgaon into a Millennium City is a testament to how mega infrastructural projects and connectivity help a region grow by leaps and bounds.

Similarly, the forthcoming airport at Jewar is expected to boost the real estate sector of Noida and Greater Noida in a big way. Also, once work on the project commences, corporate, commercial and industrial sectors in the region will get fresh investments and expand in scope and scale.

Arun Vir Singh, CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), said that the agency is now awaiting a formal approval from the government of India to execute the project.

The forthcoming airport will create huge employment opportunities along with an economic facelift of the whole region. For the realty sector, a lot of demand for housing and office space will emerge, along with strong capital appreciation, in and around Noida and Greater Noida. As Jaypee Greens Sports City is spread over 5000 acres approx. of land which is close to Jewar Airport.

Jewar airport will be the perfect icing on cake for this whole region. Moving further, the Agra-Lucknow Expressway will expand this demand in all the Tier II and III cities between Agra and Lucknow, opening up the real estate development in these untapped regions.
